Oracle Launches Oracle Hyperion On Demand
To meet the growing demand for enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions delivered through an on-demand model, Oracle is now providing hosting and software management services for Oracle Hyperion products.
Oracle's Hyperion Performance Management Applications are a modular suite of integrated applications that support a broad range of strategic and financial performance management processes to improve transparency and compliance and increase business alignment. The suite regularly wins top marks from analysts for both vision and execution.
Oracle On Demand now supports key Oracle Hyperion solutions, including Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting.
In addition, Oracle On Demand manages the interdependencies between Hyperion Performance Management Applications and Oracle’s Business Intelligence (BI) Foundation and Tools, as well as the entire Oracle technology stack, including database, middleware, and other enterprise applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise.
Higher Performance On Demand
Traditionally, performance management solutions have been complex and expensive to implement, integrate, and manage. In response, Oracle has created the industry's first integrated, hot-pluggable, end-to-end EPM system.
"The availability of Oracle services to host and manage Oracle Hyperion is the next logical step in helping our customers maximize the value of their EPM and BI investments," said John Kopcke, senior vice president, Business Intelligence and Performance Management.
By providing hosting and application management services for Oracle Hyperion, Oracle On Demand helps further reduce the costs and risks associated with implementing and managing EPM and BI solutions.
It does so by lowering total cost of ownership (TCO); speeding implementation and return on investment (ROI); and providing seamless access to product, support, and application management expertise.
To find out more about Oracle Hyperion On Demand, attend the Oracle Business Intelligence and Performance Management Applications On Demand session at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco. The session will be held Wednesday, September 24, at 9 a.m. at the Marriott In Salon 2. See the entire roster of On Demand sessions or add the Oracle BI and Performance Management On Demand Session to your own personal OpenWorld session agenda.
